Temple B’nai Torah is so fortunate to have a Parent Teacher Association. We are the arm of the Temple that is here for our children and the future of our Jewish community. The PTA supports the learning that takes place in the classroom and provides special activities for students both during and after religious school.
The PTA is always there to welcome the children back after the summer break and start off the High Holidays with apples and honey for students and teachers. We assist the teachers when needed and help out at the Tu B’Shevat and Passover Seders and the Chanukah party and sale. We facilitate the students in creating our annual Tu B’Shevat tree to be proudly displayed at the seder and then the main stairwell. PTA also sponsors exciting and fun activities such Family BINGO, mitzvah projects, and our ever popular Pizza, Prayer, and Pajamas. Services and a movie in your pjs while eating pizza and snacks. You can’t beat that!
PTA meetings are held monthly on Sunday mornings in Room 104. (Check the temple calendar for exact dates and times.) We’d love the company and we’re always open to suggestions.
