BNTY

Welcome to our Temple’s Youth place…

BNTY, one of the largest and most active youth groups in Nassau County, is dedicated to enriching the lives of Jewish teens and tweens through participation in weekly programs, Friday evening services, mitzvah projects, and events stressing Judaism and social awareness. Through BNTY’s affiliation with NFTY (North American Federation of Temple Youth), BNTY members are able to participate in all NFTY events which include weekend kallot, Social Justice Day, and NFTY Biennial. Registration happens on a rolling basis. Due to the limited amount of staff, registration closes when the youth group enrollment reaches 40 members.

BNTY Junior (grades 6 – 8

meets on Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Weekly programs include improv games, art projects, Israel education, and group games. Dinner is provided the first meeting of every month. Participants are asked to provide their own meals for the remainder of the meetings in the month.

BNTY Senior, (grades 9-12

meets on Mondays from 8:30pm to 9:30pm, directly after Hebrew High School. Programs are created by the Programming Vice Presidents, other board, BNTYsr members, and the BNTY Staff. Often, guests come in to run programs on music, Judaism, or comedy.

Participating in the BNTYsr Board is a great way to get involved, gain leadership skills, and have fun organizing programs and trips for the BNTYsr group. The Board is vital to the organization of the yearly Purim Carnival and BNTY Friday Night Rock Service.
