Worship

Prayer is a language that each of us speaks and hears in a different way. Prayer also takes many forms. Prayer can be a communal service, a moment of meditation, or a walk through the wonders of God’s creation. When we pray alone, we seek to engage with the divine on our own terms. When we pray together, we work to find meaning within the chorus of diverse voices.

Through a wide range of meaningful and spiritual experiences, we offer something for everyone, to help them find their own language of prayer. Whether at weekly Friday Night and Shabbat Services, Torah Study, Tot and Family Shabbat services, Junior Congregation for our youth, Summer Services at the beach, or our many special services throughout the year, we work to find many ways to communicate with God.

With their engaging sermons and stimulating teachings, our Clergy show us that the lessons from the past remain relevant to our lives today and can help to give our lives meaning and purpose.

Our services are fully egalitarian, meaning men and women participate equally. We are always working to find a healthy balance between traditional and more creative approaches to prayer and worship. Services include both Hebrew and English. We weave both traditional and contemporary melodies into our prayer to highlight the many beautiful eras of Jewish liturgical music.
